This August, I will be participating in my fifth PAN-Mass Challenge to raise money to find a cure for cancer. The PMC is a two-day, 192-mile bicycle ride from Sturbridge in central Mass. to Provincetown on the tip of Cape Cod.
This blog will chronicle my training and fund raising progress in addition to providing interesting pieces of information that I pick up along the way (ok, some of this might only be interesting to me).
Riding for the past several years has been an incredible experience and I’m looking forward to the challenge of training and riding again this August.
I am going to need your help and generosity in some of the most challenging economic times we can imagine. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that cancer doesn’t care about the economy; it doesn’t care about the banking crisis, subprime mortgages or dwindling retirement savings. Cancer only cares about one thing, and that is growing inside people who don’t deserve it. However, with each dollar we muster we get closer to a cure every day.
Please give what you can – each dollar makes a difference. http://www.pmc.org/egifts/gift info.asp?EgiftID=BE0034
Thank you in advance and for your generosity the past years.
